They, along with such bands as Black Flag and Bad Religion, were among the preeminent punk bands of the L.A. scene in the early '80s.Around the late 80s, Circle Jerks remained silent as Greg Hetson joined Bad Religion. They reunited for a farewell tour in 90s and released a live album "Gig". The band reunited again in 1994 and released one album (Oddities, Abnormalities and Curiosities) this time. Sadly, Circle Jerks broke up again around when Greg Hetson would continue being in Bad Religion. The band reunited again in the early 2000s and there was talk of a new album, but it never surfaced. Hetson is of course still in the band. « hide
