Pop superstars in the '60s (in Europe, at least), The Walker Brothers are now more notable for being theband that launched the career of the enigmatic Scott Walker; a notion reflected by the fact that themajority of the biographies and compilations that look back at the band's career also include Scott'sfirst four albums. They enjoyed two chart toppers with "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine (Anymore)" and"Make it Easy on Yourself", before disbanding in 1968; a surprise reunion album arrived in 1976 withNite Flights, although again, the album was overshadowed by the Scott Walker solo materialpresent on it, which set the tone for his experimental album Climate of Hunter, Tilt, andThe Drift.
