The band was formed by Matt Fisher and Matt Malek for fun. The Matt's created two albums in 2003 (Catfish Vs. When Hefty B.O.B. and The Technicolor Dreamcast wanted to get serious about their art they hired traveling musician Kevin Wood and Producer Erin Rioux in 2004 to help them with their future project. They also changed the name of their band to The Sadamas, but they changed it back to just Technicolor Dreamcast to describe their whimsical sound. On September 18, 2006 the Technicolor Dreamcast released their masterpiece "Catology" to the public. The cd was a hit and sold out its first day. The band is currently touring and working on songs for their next album. « hide
