Farmer Boys are a German metal band that formed in 1994. They are probably best known for their 2000 controversial single, "Here Comes the Pain", which the music video of was almost universally banned. Throughout their time together, Farmer Boys were critically acclaimed for their gloomy mixture of gothic metal, doom metal, and later, nu metal. Beginning in 2004, the group began several years of on-and-off activity, and Farmer Boys made one last appearance at the 2011 Summer Breeze Open Air music festival in Germany before entering a permanent hiatus. In late 2016, Farmer Boys announced their official reunion, and in May of 2018, the group released their fifth album, "Born Again", which was their first original album release in 14 years.
