Zaz Carbolic is a British alternative rock band formed in 2007 by vocalist/rhythm guitarist Dave J. Croyd. The band went through various
lineups through the subsequent years of anonymity in Rio, Brazil. But is now currently fronted by Dave J. Croyd, with lead guitarist Ruffer
Schnejd, Shawn Dunn (of Brix of Mud) on bass, and Josh LePeneck (formally of Kids Behind) on drums. Zaz Carbolic’s abrasive alternative/pop

style have been initially influenced by several Heavy Metal bands like Mötley Crüe, Thin Lizzy and Skid Row. But none of those bands brought
some real character for the sound or atittude as well. Then, punk rock was the main resource provider, which also handn’t caught Dave’s hard-
nosed attention. By the year of 2010, the lineup broke once again, pushing a lonely Dave to search for different sounds and meanings till the
stardom, which drove his till then "Heavy Metal band" to a more alternative-pop band. « hide |
