Thursday are one of the successful bands of the post-hardcore genre of the 21st century. The band formed in 1997 in New Brunswick, New Jersey and released two widely acclaimed albums Full Collapse in 2001 and War of All the Time in 2003, as well as their latest album, A City by the Light Divided, which was released on May 2, 2006. They will soon be back with their next album that should be released sometime in 2008.
