The Controls

Ann Colville and Mike ‘Dub-L’ Delaney make up New York City trip-hop duo The Controls. The Controls sound takes cues from notable artists such as Portishead and Massive Attack. Their debut (and only) album ‘One Hundred’ is solid craft from start to finish. Aesop Rock adds some hip-hop lyricism on tracks like ‘Shere Khan,’ a march-to-the-beat scratch track.
