The Black Dahlia Murder are currently revitalising what American death metal should be - a blend of vocal schizophrenia, insane and brutal instrumentation. The imagery that frontman Trevor Strnad creates with their lyrics is the definition of morbid. All in all, this band are the best bits of thrash metal and gothenburg style melodic death. A must for fans of rabid, evil and incredibly enjoyable melodeath.
