uncertainty, SYC has chosen to make listeners their chief concern.Upon concquering the local music scene in 2007, SYC's original
founders -- bassist Danny Zeidand guitarist Deepan Rajah -- sought to break into the national music scene drawing from
radioinfluences ranging from Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace to Lost Prophets and Story of theYear. After dropping
members that didn't share their growing vision, Rajah and Zeid drafted drummerMatt Young from a competing band and soon
gained the attention of vocalist James Scott. After asuccessful run of shows fronting the band, James convinced his brother,
guitaristJohn Scott, toleave his band and join. With State Your Causecompletely reformed by mid-2008, the five membersteamed
with producer Ben Schigel (Drowning Pool, Switched, Walls of Jericho) to create their debutalbum, "Escape, Rebellion and
Promise."While working with Schigel, SYC has broadened their appealintending to gain attention professionally as well as listeners
