Skatenigs are a crossover-industrial band from Texas that first formed in 1988. Vocalist Phil Owen had ties to the industrial supergroup Revolting Cocks, with vocalist Al Jourgensen producing Skatenigs’s first album, “Stupid People Shouldn’t Breed”, in 1992. The group released a few singles and one more album, 1994’s “What a Mangled Web We Leave”, before disbanding in 1995. In 2015, after two decades apart, Skatenigs reunited and in 2016 released “Adult Entertainment for Kids”, which was their first original album release since “What a Mangled Web We Leave”, and the group remain active today.
