Since 1989, Sawao Yamanaka (山中さわお; born December 7, 1968) has been the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of one of Japan's most renowned rock acts, The Pillows, and has composed and written all their music since 1994. Additionally, he is the frontman of The Predators and Casablanca (JP), owner of Delicious Label, and with the release of the album Discharge in 2010, Yamanaka adds a solo career to his already impressive list of accomplishments.
