After their 1986 debut, Pop Will Eat Itself made its mark on the independent music world by morphing from indie popwondersintohip hop/rockcrossover pioneers. Years ahead of their time, PWEI produced a furious mix of beatboxes, metal riffs,emceeingandpop songs. Disbanding in 1995,Pop Will Eat Itself reformed in 2005 temporarily, and officially reunited in 2010. In2011, thegroupreleased their first original album in over a decade,"New Noise Designed by a Sadist", which had overall positivereviewsfromnumerous music critics.
