Industrial. Metal. Electronica. "Death Pop". Whatever you call them, they're Orgy. Hailing from Bakersfield, California, Jay Gordon, Bobby Hewitt, Ryan Shuck, Amir Derakh, and Paige Bailey truly create a unique sound. Their last album, 2004's Punk Statik Paranoia was a radical departure for the band, mostly dropping the electronica/industrial sound for a more stereotypical nu-metal feel. Orgy was remembered for their name which wasn't innuendo; they insist it means their "collage" of sounds. They were also remembered for their odd appearances; often looking like a radical sci-fi flick in videos and pictures. « hide
