Neutral Milk Hotel

Neutral Milk Hotel is an indie rock outfit that features innovative instrumentation and sentimental lyrics. NMH is led by Jeff Mangum, a songwriter hailing from the little town of Ruston, Louisiana, also the home of William Cullen Hart and Bill Doss, both in the Olivia Tremor Control, and Robert Schneider, of the Apples in Stereo, all part of theElephant 6 Collective. Originally begun by Mangum in early 90's, NMH usually consists of Mangum and a revolving line of musicians that have included members of Elf Power and Of Montreal. The band's second full length, In the Aeroplane Over the Sea was met with little notice upon first release, but since then has grown to be a cult classic. The band is currently on hiatus, with no word on if there is to be another album. edit info
