Seixal Death Metal band NEOPLASMAH date to 1997, issuing the demo 'Interstellar Experiences' in 1999. The band features drummer Ronaldo Barros, a man holding credits with SACRED SIN, GROG and NEPHTYS. Dark Music Records issued the album 'Sidereal Passage' during 2004.
Guitarist Zé Melkor (a.k.a. José Marreiros) cites NEPTHYS and THE FIRSTBORN affiliations. Bassist Alexandre operates with GROG and BLEEDING DISPLAY. He would also act as stand in live bassist for HEMATOMA during 2003.
The band also put in an appearance at the 2003 'Steel Warriors Rebellion VI' festival alongside ENTHRONED, INTERNAL SUFFERING, KATATONIA, FINNTROLL, HOLOCAUSTO CANIBAL, ATTICK DEMONS, PITCH BLACK, CORPUS CHRISTII, IN THY FLESH, AXE MURDERERS, AGONIZED, THANATOSCHIZO, FLAGELLUM DEI and ETERNAL MOURNING,
