Mr. Big were an American rock band formed in 1988 compromising of virturoso guitarist Paul Gilbert, virturoso bassist Billy Sheenan, drummer Pat Torpey and vocalist Eric Martin. They started off much like many of the glam metal bands of the time with poppy songs with formatted cadenzas by the bands musicians shown on their Debut S/T. Their second album took a step away from this, Lean into it, which incorparated much more melody and was more focused on beatle-esque choruses and the formatted guitar solos were taken a back seat in the main songs.
