This was the first band of the legendary guitarist Billy Gibbons (ZZ-Top). Along with Don Summers (bass), Dan Mitchell (drums) and Tom Moore on keyboards, he formed the Moving Sidewalks sometime in the mid-60s. Having as an influence the Jimi Hendrix Experience, they went to record their only album titled 'Flash' in 1969 before dissolving in the same year because of Summers's and Moore's draft to serve the US army in the Vietnam War. During their short-spelled career they've managed to share the stage with the likes of 'The Doors', the Jeff Beck Group and Hendrix.
