Newcastle band Montagu have been kicking around the local scene since their inception in Autumn 2013. The band’s accessible tunes harbour a level of substance and depth that defines their unique brand of alternative indie rock. Drawing influence from a wide range of artists such as Radiohead, The Strokes, The Arctic Monkeys and Alt J, the band aims to create something new.
Hailing from various regions of NSW including The Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Newcastle the members David Smith (Vocals/Guitar), Scott Stronach (Drums), Brennan Fell (Bass) and Tyler Burrows (Guitar) want to connect with people through their shows.The boys are currently planning to tour the east coast on a shoestring to promote the latest of their musical efforts.
