Lifers Group was a short lived hip hop group that consisted entirely of 25-to-life prisoners from New Jersey. First formed in 1990, it was primarily
usedas a way to warn the youth of the dangers of prison life and the dire consequences of their actions. Lifers Group released a few singles, an EP and
onealbum, 1993's "Living Proof", before disintegrating by 1994.
