A power-trio supergroup consisting of Tony Levin of King Crimson (bass, cello, Chapman stick), Marco Minnemann ofSteven Wilson's band and The Aristocrats (drums and guitar) and Jordan Rudess of Dream Theater(keyboards).Their album LMR can be described as instrumental heavy fusion-prog.Tony and Jordan have played together with Liquid Tension Experiment but this is their first with Minnemann. The musiccovers a lot of ground with a lot of variety from one song to the other, displaying each member's virtuosity. This project startedwhen Tony chose Marco to play with him in studio after he had played live with him in the past. They wrote some pieces andsent them to Jordan who added his own touch. « hide |
