Ladyhawke - real name Phillipa 'Pip' Brown - is a New Zealand born singer-songwriter who also plays many instruments on her studio releases, such as the guitar, bass, keyboards & synthesizer. Initially part of NZ band Two Lane Blacktop (as guitarist), she moved to Australia upon their break-up and hooked up with Nick Littlemore from Pnau (& later Empire Of The Sun) to form the duo Teenager. Later focusing on her solo project (named after Michelle Pfeiffer's character in the movie 'Ladyhawke'), the then 27 year old released her debut self-titled album in September of 2008. Singles 'Paris Is Burning', 'Dusk Till Dawn' and 'My Delirium' have all received airplay throughout Australasia & the United Kingdom. Ladyhawke's music can best be described as electro-pop.
