Lady Red is a female rapper from New Orleans. She is probably best known for her 1996 single "Smokin Dat Weed", which has
since been acclaimed as one of the most memorable bounce tracks of the 1990's. She went on to release another single and
two more albums before mysteriously disappearing from the rap scene by 2000.
