Formed in Bakersfield, CA in 1992, Korn is one of the innovators behind the aggressive sub-genre known as "nu-metal." Frontman Jonathan Davis's lyrics of angst and self-abandon spoke to a generation of post-Nirvana teens. Guitarists Head and Munky provide a rhythmic assault of downtuned riffs, while bassist Fieldy makes himself audible with an intense (some would say annoying) clicking and buzzing of his distorted Ibanez.
