The Jesus Lizard appeared onto the scene in the early nineties. Their music is hardcore/punk and it borrows influences from grunge, and hardcore. David Yow is the bands headman, and his vocal delivery is shrill, rough, and filled with angst ridden emotion. The Jesus Lizard are oozing with energy and their music is extremely intense. The band has released five albums, and have been disbanded in the early 00's.
