House of Pain were an Irish-American hip-hop group that emerged from New York in the early '90s, breaking into the mainstream with theclassic
single 'Jump Around'. The DJ Muggsy-produced self-titled album from which it was taken quickly went multi-platinum as a result.
Two more albums followed before the group split up in 1996. Everlast went on to a successful solo career as a blues-rock/rap-rock artist,while
DJ Lethal joined popular nu metal band Limp Bizkit.
