Ken Montgomery is an electronics explorer who once ran a tiny record store in the East Village called Generator, hence the
name Gen Ken. In 1989, Montgomery founded Generator, the first sound art gallery in New York City (1989-1992). He continues
to produce concerts and recordings of his work and other sound artists.
