"From First to Last" was founded originally made up of guitarist Travis Richter and Matt Good in 2002 before adding vocalist Philip Reardon, bassist Joey Antillon and drummer Derek Bloom. Their first album "Aesthetic" was released in 2003 and would be the last with Reardon behind the mic. During recording for their follow-up "Dear Diary, My Teen Angst has a Bodycount" Philip left citing "Personal Reasons". Desperate to find a front man the band recruited guitarist Sonny Moore to play but eventually he became their new lead man. In 2006 the band released "Heroine" and it was a major departure from their emo roots. "Heroine" also featured "Black Light Burns" guitar/vocalist Wes Borland on bass after recent bassists Jon Weisberg was asked to leave. In Feb 2007 the band would see yet another lineup change when Sonny Moore would decide to leave to pursue a solo career. Guitarist Matt Bloom would eventually assume lead vocals duty.
