Fire in the Attic was founded 2003 in the German city of Bonn. Formed out of the remains of the bands "Summer's Last Regret" and "Fastplan", the band consist of five musicians from both bands. Bacause of their expirience from their previous bands, the first EP "Decision & Action" was already recorded and released three months later.
As they were used to from their previous bands, shows were played wherever someone provided elictricity, which gains them concerts in local clubs, but also as support act for bands like Coheed & Cambria, Billy Talent or Taking Back Sunday. After gathering more songs, the first full length LP "Crush/Rebuild" is recorded in late 2004. Besides being published in Germany, the album is also released via CR-Japan in the Asian region.
