From the suburbs of Stockholm, Sweden, the one-man progressive metal act Fifth Quadrant emerged early 2012 and has since released 2 EP's and one LP. Created and run by the twenty year old guitarist and composer Marcus Söderberg accompanied by friends and family with inspiration taken from electronic music, jazz and talented metal composers such as David Maxim Micic, Jakub Zytecki and Plini, Fifth Quadrant aims for melody and groove combined with ambient soundscapes to approach the genre differently.
