Divine Souls was a Melodic Death Metal from Sweden. They released a total of two albums, however they're first album was simply a collection of songs from previously released EPs. They're real debut album was they're second LP release 'The Bitter Selfcaged Man'. This was also their last as their founder/lead guitarist/chief composer decided to leave as he felt that the other band members weren't pulling their weight within the band, so he lost interest due to having to do almost everything by himself. Anyway, their last release is also a crowning achievement, being a solid and highly melodic album in a similar vein to early In Flames.
