Deadwood Tree was formed in 2012 in Mallorca (spain), as a result of the affinity in musical tastes between their original members: Gonzalo Aeneas, Javi
Olivencia, Juan Mayol and Lino Rodriguez. The goal was to create dark, thick and direct metal, heavily influenced by Mastodon. In 2013, Curro Maestre joined
the band as a singer, and that led to their first set of compositions and recordings ("Son Of Myself"). In 2015, Isidro Moron replaced Lino on drums, and the band
finally recorded their first EP "Sovereign"
