Da 5 Footaz are a hip hop group from California that first formed in 1992. The group got their first break in 1994 by being
featured on Warren G's debut album "Regulate... G-Funk Era", which ended up going multi-platinum. In 1996, Da 5 Footaz
released their first single "The Heist", which proved to be a modest success, although it wasn't until 2000 that the group
released their first official full length album, "Lifetime", which was an underground flop. Shortly after the release of their 2003
compilation album "The Lost Scrolls", Da 5 Footaz disbanded. In 2010, however, after several years apart, the group announced
its reunion, and the group released a few mixtapes throughout 2012 and 2013. Da 5 Footaz appear to be still active today,
although at a much slower pace.
