Bob Marley and the Wailers were a highly influencial reggae group from Jamaica. The unit was the second vessel for frontman Bob Marley's musical output, the first coming in the form of the Wailers alongside other major reggae players Peter Tosh and Bunny Livingston. When the latter two left to pursue solo careers, Marley carried on, altering the band's moniker slightly and sticking with a consistant backing band. Through his spirit and his music Marley has influenced an onslaught of musicians and touched a wide margin of the world in the process.
