Thurios (Drudkh, Hate Forest, Blood of Kingu and Khorus (Khors) developed Astrofaes during 1996. The Ukranian black metal duo parted ways, with Khorus being replaced by Amorth (Drudkh, Thunderkraft), with Santurious and Munruthel making appearances as session musicians on keyboards and drums respectively.
