Angels and Airwaves are a project by on and off member of Blink-182 (guitarist/vocalist) Tom DeLonge.Angels and Airwaves were founded in 2005 after Blink-182 announced their official break-up. Their debut, We Don't NeedToWhisperwasreleasedon May 23, 2006. The band began work on their follow up to the album early in 2007 with Tomstatingthat their sophomore releasewould beacontinuation of the first record.On April 19, 2007 Ryan Sinn (The Distillers, Love Equals Death) left the band due to difficulties with the band. He was replacedby30 SecondstoMarsbassist MattWachter.I-Empire was released on Nov 6, 2007after a few delays, with the first single being 'Everything's Magic'. On February12,2010, thebandreleasedtheir third album Love for free on its Modlife page.
