Amaranthe (formerly Avalanche) are a Swedish/Danish power metal outfit. They play a synth heavy metalcore/power metal hybrid, combining breakdowns and heavy guitar riffs with soaring female vocals. The band is incredibly vocal dependent, and features three vocalists.
