Review Summary: Britney Spears' first extended-play was included as a bonus disc to the DVD release of her first reality series, Britney & Kevin: Chaotic. The EP seems to be Spears' most personal record since In the Zone.

Britney Spears' first extended-play was included as a bonus disc to the DVD release of her first reality series, Britney & Kevin: Chaotic. The EP is filled with fun tracks that will surely rock your world.

The theme song "Chaotic" is an left-over from the singer's fourth studio album, In the Zone (2003). It features a thumping beat, along with prominent background vocals that sings along with Britney: "Do you like the way I rock it? / Boy, it's chaotic!". The second track is "Someday (I Will Understand)", produced by Guy Sigsworth (you may know him as the producer of Britney's previous single "Everytime"). The song was written by Spears herself, and is dedicated to her first son, Sean Preston, and talks about how the pregnancy related to her faith in God and love. "Somebody's watching over you / And that it's all I'm praying", she sings.

"Mona Lisa" was previewed on LA station 102.7 KIIS FM by the end of December 2004. Spears played the demo, recorded during The Onyx Hotel Tour, without permission of her label, and they went crazy over it. The track was completely re-written and later produced by Bloodshy & Avant, duo responsible for "Toxic". Lyrically, "Mona Lisa" alludes to a pop singer (may we say Britney herself?) and how "kinda incredible" and "unpredictable" she is, while constantly repeating "she's been cloned".

A few editions of the EP around the world includes a bonus track also produced by Guy Sigsworth titled "Over To You Now", a song with dancehall influences that refers to sex, and a remix of "Someday (I Will Understand)" done by Electro pop duo Hi-Bias, formed by Nicholas Fiorucci and Taras Harkavyi.

Britney & Kevin: Chaotic seems to be Spears' most personal record since In the Zone, and she seems comfortable singing all these songs. The only problem is that, when you start to feel Britney's vibe and get into the mood, the EP suddenly ends, leaving you thinking that it could have been an album with at least ten songs. Still, Britney & Kevin: Chaotic is definitely a must-have record for everyone.

Looking at his ratings, lol.

I know the chances of them being honest are very slim, but I do hope so :p

I didn't gave my ratings to the other albums seriously. I am going to change them. Also, a review is a personal opinion; everyone can agree or disagree. And remember: I'm reviewing the EP, not the reality series (which sucks, in my opinion).
