A truly underrated album from a then-underrated artist who found the success he so deserved with White Ladder. Sell, Sell, Sell may not be as groundbreaking as Ladder but it is one of the most honest records I've ever listened to. David sings with a lot of anger and sadness, which makes it clear that he was deeply frustraded with his career after two amazing but unsuccessful albums.
