It's neither as long-winded as Explosions in the Sky nor as repetitive as God Is An Astronaut. Great production, but a little on the homogenous side -- the middle of the album is a drag. Still, definitely worth a listen for post-rock fans. Highlights: "& The Beast," "The Woman," "The Sound of War," "All That Is Not Music Is Silence."rOh yeah and it's a pay-what-you-want album.

By far my favorite "post-rock"/instrumental/ambient album. While there's nothing new or ground-breaking, it just has a certain appeal that sets it apart.

A post-rock candy bar with a delicious alt-indie nougat center. At first I want to call this instrumental or progressive alternative, but at the same time I want to call it the post-rock messiah. Truly an amazing album, being incredibly accessible while at the same time keeping all the uniqueness that is oh so often lost in in favor of that mainstream factor. Brilliant, just Brilliant; and hey, you can't get much cheaper than FREE!!! 4.35/5
