Another great album by Vital Remains. I love the 1st album and I really enjoy what they did with the follow up. It has a unique sound all of its own and improves upon what they did so well on the previous album without sounding like an exact copy either. Also an interesting fact is that Scott Burns of Morrissound studios (Tampa,FL) was the engineer and did the mixing on this album, who was a very in-demand record producer during '94/'95 when this was recorded. I personally love the gloomy atmosphere the album art conjures with the wolf in the dark, cool to see a death metal album that dosent use gore/horror imagery.
