An interesting if a bit desultory of a compilation, Window compiles many different versions of songs on Tests and Don't Wake Me Up, mostly of the songs in their infant, unrefined forms. The six previously unreleased songs that begin the album are the bigger draw here, and they do not disappoint at all, being some of the best Microphones recordings of the late 90's. Essentially, there isn't much to say about it but this: if you're a fan of that era of The Microphones, then this comp is certainly a worthwhile listen even if the bulk of it is material heard before.
