'Currents' is a strong debut for The Gun Show, but lacks what the band needs to move forward in the genre. It shows what the band is capable of, but still feels like it's holding back from showing their true potential as a metalcore group.

Definately a step in the right direction for Christian metalcore. These guys are able to show off their talents and their faith without being to overbearing.

Christian metalcore so "heavy", it verges on being deathcore. This is not like the usual breakdown-every-ten- seconds deathcore band (although there ARE breakdowns); instead, The Gun Show utilizes dissonant licks and abrupt rests and rhythms to create music that not only sounds bad, but is also very annoying to listen to.
