3.0 good | Thompson D. Gerhart STAFF | February 19th 12 | Unfortunately far less creative and soulful than their debut, Things We Can See and Things We Can Not takes a harder, more abrasive style to So Long Forgotten's previous groove-laden approach. Though some of those subtle, tasty drumming quirks spark up here and there, the overall feel has just lost passion and creative direction. Hopefully the boys will rebound sometime soon with something more akin to Beneath Our Noble Heads.

3.0 good | TRMshadow | September 29th 10 | Strike one for absence of creativity. With "Things we Can See & Things we Cannot" just rehash a genre already overstuffed with completely identical contenders. Yes, the music is enjoyable, but it's just the same Jesus-tinged Indie-ternative that everybody and their friend seem to making in rural America now-a-days. If you want something interesting, provocative, and new, don't listen to this because you'll find nothing whatsoever. But. If you're looking for something family-friendly to play in the background of your local church's youth-group, then slap this baby right on! 2.9/5
