Lyrics really are a focal point on this album, more than any other Current 93 release. The piano compositions are beautiful but the appeal here really is Tibet himself. Easily one of the bleakest and barest albums they've put together, definitely not for everyone.

A fairly good album, I loved the piano and the chords they made on here; they flow together nicely and sound ritualistic and mesmerizing.

Really nothing good here, I thought the continuous use of the piano made it completely unvaried, and thus turned off me as a whole. This band can do much better than this honestly, because this album was terribly boring

Maybe it's just me, but I found the constant piano and predictable vocal setups (which both were the main circulation of the album)to be rather boring. This group can make a lot better. I'm a person that loves variety/experimentation in quite a lot of his music, and Soft Black Sky can't manage to mend either themes correctly.
