3.6 great | manosg EMERITUS | October 10th 17 | An undisputed '80s metal cult classic, Fire in the Brain stands in the middle of NWOBHM and the point where bands were starting to play a faster version called speed metal, of course. OZ's sound might sound slightly typical (or even dated) now, but back then their dark image and instrumentation which was similar to that of early-Grave Digger, early-Running Wild and Accept with a touch of Mercyful Fate must have been pretty cool. Interesting info: The hand on the cover belongs to Tomas Borje Forsberg who is none other than Quorthon. His father (Stig Borje Forsberg) produced the first OZ albums.
