So often with Post-Rock, bands focus more on their epic two minute crescendos than the lengthy build up that precedes them. Not this time. Followed By Ghosts have meticulously placed every note on "Dear Monsters, Be Patient" to craft one of the best post rock albums of the year. It steers away from the pitfalls that plague the genre and manages to maintain the same level of power and beauty from start to finish.
