This album fucking slapped back in the day. The first two tracks are really sorely dated, in
fact skipping both of them really improves the flow of the music. Madskillz & The Hip Hop
Phenomenon still slay, amazing pair of tracks together forming a badass groove. I saw a
scintillatingly hot stripper dancing to the Hip Hop Phenomenon when I was 17, so I'll not
ever forget that track anytime soon. The next few songs ebb & flow from dreamy to fat
grooves. One of my favorite tracks here is Godspeed, which immediately lampshades that
immaculate and legendary hook from Flaming June (For me BT's best track).
Satellite & Never Gonna to Come Back Down were the most popular off this, and really do break
the flow of the album again, they come across like a weird mix of BT & Assemblage 23. The
album ends on a track with chunky, bass almost DnB influence grooves. All up a great album,
but no-where near ESCM and especially Ima.
