3.0 good | Tomstein | November 7th 16 | While this isn't bad this band is honestly making me either want to listen to Crowbar a lot more, or it just makes me wish this was a Crowbar album. I love Kirks voice but was never into Jamey Jastas repetitive singing style . Don't know if anyone else feels the same way but the only thing that kind of ruins it for me is Jamey. It's a mix of Crowbar which I do like and Hatebreed which I don't like.

2.5 average | Wolfe | June 9th 09 | If you get annoyed by Hatebreed's repetiveness in their songs but still enjoyed Jamey Jasta, don't fret for he created another band along with Crowbar's Kirk to bring you metalcore with some sludge infused. The eponymous debut of Kingdom of Sorrow hits fast as metalcore and slow as sludge metal with tracks such as 'Lead the Ghosts Astray' and 'Hear This Prayer For Her'. While at times tracks may sound monotonous, similar, and not as strong as others, "Kingdom of Sorrow" will not be a let down for fans of Hatebreed and Crowbar.
