A three-piece outfit now, Son Lux has a reputation for a weird, tricky style of chamber/art pop that came most notably to light on 2015's Bones. Remedy is another in the catalog that relies on this strange sense of songwriting, as evidenced even by the skittering and volatile production of opener, "Dangerous", and the interesting vocal inflections of "Stolen". The title-track's a bit reminiscent of "Now I Want", which is always a welcome comparison, and in only fifteen minutes Son Lux prove they've still got some admirable ideas up their sleeve. Needless to say, the fifth full-length is very much anticipated.
