The third album for the groove metal band from Montreal, Burning The Oppressor. This is for sure, an excellent set of songs. I enjoyed the music from the beginning to the end. They are impressive, with the drumming that is just hammering fast beats through the album. The guitars bring some nice and heavy rhythms and some catchy melodies. Heartquake, Bloodshed and many other songs are excellent, they will hook you with the sounds and the lyrics.rIf you are a fan of Anonymous, Bounded by Blood or Reanimator you will for sure find what you like in this album. Patrick Martin of Reanimator is even featured on the song Fuck The Facts . The guitars have some great solos through the album, the bass is heavy and adds to their groove style. Great riffs, they don't hesitate to bring them back often in the songs. This is one heavy album that is well balanced with a loud and fast drum. I enjoyed Bloodshed and will go listen to it again.
